Photography is rich in its ability to present any given moment in silence. Sliced from a movie of constant action and noise. My Photography is merely a visual transcription of my experiences, the people and stories I encounter. I can’t claim truth or a definite narrative, as every story evolves and is ongoing.
My work explores our sense of identity and place in society, with particular reference to our environment. Even our traces hold a mirror up to who we are, the signs are everywhere. My images aim to portray the often over-looked, everyday moments; and how we fit into the society we find ourselves part of. I am drawn to the ambiguity in realism, that sits somewhere between documentary and art. The nuance and overtness in the framework of the ordinary.
I am a UK based photographer, artist and educator.
